Frequently asked questions

Do you require a security deposit?

Rentals of five days or less do not require a security deposit. Instead, a temporary $300 credit card authorization hold per scooter is placed shortly before delivery. This is not a charge and is released according to the card issuer’s processing time after the rental is completed, provided there are no applicable charges.

Rentals of six days or longer require a refundable $300 security deposit per scooter before delivery. The deposit is refunded after the scooter is returned and inspected, subject to the terms of the Rental Agreement.
Can I take the scooter off the ship at ports of call?

Generally, yes. Mobility scooters can often be taken off the ship and used at ports of call. However, accessibility varies by port, excursion, and docking method. Some tender ports or excursions may not accommodate scooters, so check with your cruise line regarding accessibility at each destination.
Can the scooter be used on a cruise ship?

Yes. Our mobility scooters are intended for cruise travel and can generally be used aboard cruise ships. Requirements can vary by cruise line and ship, so we recommend confirming your cruise line’s current mobility-device requirements before sailing.
When will I get my order?

We will work quickly to ship your order as soon as possible. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with further information. Delivery times vary depending on your location.
Where do you deliver?

We provide local delivery throughout the Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach service area. Delivery can be coordinated to your cruise terminal, hotel, or another approved nearby meeting location. We’ll contact you before your rental to confirm the exact details.
Is delivery and return free?

Yes. Delivery and return are free within our Port Canaveral and Cocoa Beach service area. We’ll coordinate a convenient location and provide your delivery and return instructions before your rental.
When is the remaining balance due?

A 25% payment is required when you book. The remaining 75% is due 7 days before your rental begins. Reservations made within 7 days of the rental date require full payment at booking.
What happens if the scooter is damaged or lost?

A $300 card authorization hold per scooter may be placed on your payment card as security. You are responsible for damage beyond normal wear and tear, loss, or theft. If repair or replacement costs exceed $300, you may be responsible for the additional reasonable costs according to our Rental Agreement.
Is ID required?

Yes. The person responsible for the rental must be at least 18 years old and provide a valid government-issued photo ID upon request.
